Book review written by: Anette
Peter Nimble focuses on a blind orphan, found in a basket by drunk sailors who named him after a misremebered nursery rhyme, he had a raven perched on his basket, and his eyes, sadly were pecked out. So Peter Nimble, alone and hungry in the world, started to teach himself how to steal, for food and clothes, so he can survive. Enter Mr. Seamus, a person who taught many orphan how to steal. Then he met Peter. He taught Peter all kinds of theft, the hard way. Then, Enter the haberdasher. After his encounter with him, and after he, OF COURSE steals from him a box, containing the most peculiar objects. Eyes, each with its own kind of magic.
My favorite part of this book is when peter meets Sir Tode, a "Knight" who has been transformed into an unfortunate combination of a cat, a horse and a human. I also like when they meet peg and the other missing ones. This is a book for those that enjoy action-adventure books, and those of you who absolutly love a sneaky backstabbing type of book.
Anette I really ant to read that book now!!!!!!!
