100 Word Challenge: Kane

It was a bright day and I was swimming at the pool of the local country club. There was a pipe in the pool. I wondered what it was so I carefully swam down to examine it. Inside of the pipe, there was a fish! I got scared and got out of that pool. I was drying of with my towel and I saw something and couldn't believe my eyes, It was a green horse, it started whinnying and jumping around. There was a lady at the pool who jumped up and started whipping the horse with her belt. Finally the horse ran away.

100 Word Challenge: Kane

I was on the plane on a parachuting for fun and when I looked out of the plane window all was clear and then I jumped. I was flying through the air the wind rushing through my ears, I was screaming and yelling. Land was coming closer and my parachute wasent opening a lake was below me suddently I hit the lake and started bouncing over the water saying weee weeee. Then other people landed good on the shore of the lake. They saw me bouncing  on the water and they said "what the heck." I said "its fun".

PE: Hidden Valley

HIDDEN VALLEY SKI TRIP BY KANE

Yesterday the fifth grade went to Hidden Valley. It was so fun. When we arrived we watched a safety video and got our lift tickets. Then we went into this stinky room and got our boots, skis, and helmets. when we got outside there was 7 stations on the first we put our skis on, on the second we learned how to get up, on the third we side stepped up a small hill. On the fourth we learned how to stop. On the fifth we skied down a tiny hill and went through cones. On the seventh we did the same thing. then we were free. I finished fast and since I had been skiing I got to go on the big ski lift. I did tons of fun hills and went really fast. Soon it was lunch time, and I got a pizza, carrots, and a soda. I ate in fast and continued skiing. At 1:00 PM the black diamonds opened. Black diamonds are really hard runs. since we had to leave at 1:45 I only had time to do it once, it was really fun but a bit icey. once I skidded on a slick part and fell but I got up and kept going.  My OWL for 2014 is "participate" because in 2014 I did not raise my hand that much or join in discussions that much so this year I'm going to participate more in group discussions. I think this is important because everybody should join in discussions.
