100 Word Challenge: Tudor

I was running through a sewer.I had no idea why.I looked back and I saw a green horse so I kept running.I saw I pipe and I ran towards it but it kept moving further away.I finally reached the pipe and carefully swam through it because it was underwater.I found a wasteland.I could see no one.The ground was ashy and black.I started running.I had to get out.I spotted volcanoes far away.I suddenly fell hard and I saw nothing.I woke up and to my horror I found a green horse staring evilly at me.

100 Word Challenge: Tudor

I was on a plane and I was bored so then I looked out the window and saw an explosion of white and blue.It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Then I saw something red out of the corner of my eyes followed by many other red flashes.I realized they were meteors.A few hours later we were landing and I saw one of the meteors fall down.I got out and I started running towards the meteor. When I got there my legs suddenly went limp and the last thing I saw before fainting was the meteor cracking open.

OLW: Persevere

OLW by Tudor

My OLW is Persevere. It is important because it gets you ahead in life.It also is very important in school. It can help you in your job as a grownup.

For example if a test is hard and you persevere through one of the problems you probably got it right. Also if you didn't get the problem right you can persevere on studying next time.Persevering in your job can be from doing endless experiments as a scientist,to a teacher through a long day.
You can persevere in almost anything.

What is your OLW?

Math: Algebra

Algebra by Tudor

In math we started on our algebra unit.It was pretty tough untill I got the hang of it.So basically algebra is using letters as numbers and those letters are called variables.Algebra was a short unit due to winter break. We will also certainly be doing algebra next year in middle school.

Due to the algebra unit being short, the test is tomorrow. That means study, study, study!I wish everyone luck.Algebra is useful in real life also like when you need to do certain things.

Social Studies: Theories

Theories on First People in North America
                         By:Tudor

In Social Studies,we learned theories on the first native americans. The land bridge theory is that the ice age froze so much water a strip of land was exposed between Siberia and Alaska.Animals went on it followed by hunters. The Pacific and Atlantic crossing theory is that natives came across on boats.

The Hopi origin belief is that the Earth was hollow. The people and all the animals were in there. One day a hole with a ladder appeared and everyone came out. These are the theories I can remember.

Which theory do you believe?

             By Tudor
We have nearly finished collecting personal narratives. It is sorta fun.We have a lot of collecting strategies. My favorite is first time personal narratives.

Today we also have to write a personal narrative about claymo. We also collect by stretching small moments. That's what were doing in the claymo personal narrative assignment.Another collection is finding things you did with other people.

Math Test

Math Test
by Tudor

Today in Math everyone did a math test. It was for chapter 2. Some of the problems were hard, some were easy. In Ms. McMillion's math class, if you finished you could read or work on extensions/enrichment part of the chapter 2 math packet. It wasn't too hard, but it was only chapter 2.
I hope everyone did well.

Poems of a Great World

Poems of a Great World

By:Tudor

I am using my in charge of the world poem.It makes it unique because it is a poem about my world.I like this poem because it has a lot of good things. I enjoy writing these poems because every time I have a good idea I can put it down. Here it is.
The Best Place Ever
If I was in charge of the world,
Everything would be free and,
In infinite supply including,
Three day weekends.

If I was in charge of the world
There would be no more annoying siblings,
No more chores,
No more "eat your veggies" and,
No more disease.
I am proud of all the detail and work I put into this poem.

In Ms. Mcmillion's math class we did a extension crossword. It had multiplication and division. It also had addition and subtraction. The crossword also needed order of operations.

I did it with my partner from Ms Mcmillions's class, John.We used a calculator to check our work.It was really hard.  I finished mine after two days of work.
