Jude Watson wrote the 39 clues.  The main characters are March, Jules, Darius, Izzy, and Alfie McQuinn, the master criminal.  I would give this book 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.  

This book is about March March who his father is a master criminal.  Then, one day, the master criminal falls off of a building and some of his last words: Find jewels.  Also, before dying, the master criminal tosses him a jewel, one of the 7 magical moonstones.  Then, as March soon discovers, his dad didn’t mean find jewels, he meant find Jules, the sister that March never knew that he had.  Now, they must find the missing moonstones, with the help of two other kids, Darius and Izzy.  Will they make it?

Book Review: StarGirl

Stargirl By Jerry Spinelli

    When a not so ordinary girl (stargirl) comes to Mica a oradingry school people don’t know what to think of her, some say she is a implant from the school board some say she is a alien but everybody thinks she is weird expect Leo.

    I really enjoyed the book and I read it’s sequel Love,Stargirl. The message in this book is really clear. It also has 3 great characters and it is kind of heartwarming so I would rate this 4 ½ stars/5 stars.

Matilda is a bright young girl, with a Ok brother and horrible parents. They treat her like scum, think the Telly (TV) is more important than books, (EGAD HOW HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!) and don't even bother to cook. But one day Matilda discovers the library, a wonderful place where she can read all she wants to. After a while her parents get it into their thick skulls to actually send their daughter to school. There she meets THE TRUNCHBULL.Will she survive? or will the chokey get her?

I really like Matilda, although my favorite character is the THE TRUNCHBULL. I like how she is very strong,and not timid or shy like in other books. But exactly the opposite. She does what she wants and no one dares to stop her, even the grownups. She tortures her pupils ENDLESSLY and is very cruel. I hope no one ever in this whole wide world is ever like her. In fact I hope we are all the opposite.

    As you probably noted, this is an autobiography.  It is a soccer players autobiography.  In this book, he describes his life, in and out of the pitch.  But, I advise, you, there are many bad words, including the F-class bomb.  And, they are usually on every page.  So, its a risk.  

    In the beginning, there was a Croatian lady and a Bosnian man, who both escaped the war, and came to a little town in Sweden, and here is where the story starts, from a scrawny boy to a marvelous soccer star.  He started stealing bikes after kids started doing that to him, and later got asked to professional soccer by Malmo FF.  From here, to many teams he likes, and sometimes hates so bad, he immediately leaves.  But his story is great.

    Suds is used to being a 3rd grade angel, So when he moves up to 4th grade he becomes a rat which he hates. But his friend Joey is pushing him to become a true 4th grade rat. Will Suds become a rat? or will he ignore Joey?

    I would rate this 2 1/2 stars out of 5 stars. It is a quick read but doesn’t have a lot of other character depth than Joey and Suds the 2 main characters. I haven’t read 3rd grade angels which is the prequel to 4th grade rats. en.wikipedia.org
