Book Review: Belly Up

Belly Up
by Ariana

I have read an amazing book about Stuart Gibbs. The characters are memorable and the plot is super intriguing. This book is good for anyone who likes humor murder mysteries. I would recommend this book for kids and adults 4th grade and up.
In this book Theodore Fitzroy just doesn't fit in. He doesn't care. He has no friends but then the super-cute-famous-chic {Summer Mccracken} comes in the picture and Teddy makes friends with her. Okay you say. Romantic friendship story. No. Teddy’s parents works for the billionaire {Summer’s dad} at a animal theme park. The zoo’s mascot turns up dead.

Social Studies: Explorers

Explorers

In social studies class we are learning about famous explorers from a long time ago. Each student has a different explorer and is researching that explorer. This information will be displayed to glenridge parents and we get to show the fourth graders our work. It is fun to research and find out fun facts about people that made the history books. Some students {like me} are not studying a explorer. But instead a explorer related topic. Some examples are Explorer Ships, Explorer maps, and conflicts.
We get to choose the way we present our information. We can make childrens story’s, i movies, key notes, powerpoint, glogster, posters, and prezi’s to show our work. Do you like research projects??

Book Review: Where the Red Fern Grows

Book review: Where the Red Fern Grows
by Emma

This book by Wilson Rawls was one of the best books I read but it was so so so so so so so so sad it made me cry so hard. It is about a young boy who really badly wants two hunting dogs and he works for years to get them. And when he finally has enough $$$$  to get them he sets off to get them on his own. He gets his dogs home and then he hunts in the woods with them this book was written a long time ago so people still hunted. The dogs turn out to be really good hunters and their names are Little Ann and Old Dan. Little Ann is clever and Old Dan is kind of reckless but strong and big, (hey what can you expect he’s just a dog?!). I think I’ve told enough so YOU CAN GO READ THE BOOK ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!
