Chomp

Chomp is a Mark Twain Nominee, so thats one good reason to read it. I would give it 4.5 out of 5. Carl Hiaasen is also a good author. Some other titles under his name include Hoot, Scat, and Flush.
Chomp is about a boy, named Wahoo, whose father isn’t exactly rich. His father is also a pro animal wrangler. There is a really (ok, SORTA) popular tv show called Expedition Survival!, And the star of the show is called Derek. They make episodes about him surviving in the wild, but, they are never actually in the wild! So the crew of ES! (short for Expedition Survival!) decide to film the episode about the Everglades in Wahoo’s backyard. But soon, Derek starts to think that he has to put the “real” back into “reality”, so he demands for it to be filmed in the actual Everglades. Derek gets hurt many times, and he disappears. Think he’ll survive?
