    In math, sometimes I struggle with really pushing myself to keep going with independent work, so I’m here to talk about my challenges in algebra. The first thing that I struggled with was not to do guess and check. Yes, I had trouble with not doing a method. It’s just easier for me. I could not be productive doing boring math methods that I don’t know. Does that ever happen with you? Next, I find it hard to understand problems that you have to find the value of. Like this:8n=1n. What is the value of n? That one is very easy for me but complicated ones with numbers like 10 and over, I don’t understand that very well. Lastly, I struggle with big real world problems. Like when there are fractions in it. Algebra and fractions don’t mix together well in my mind. Even though I love and am good at fractions, algebra and fractions is hard. That is what I am challenged with in algebra. I still like it, though. Do you like algebra?
