Book Review: Dying to Meet You

Dying to Meet You Book Review
Book Review By: Emma

This is a really good book by Sarah and Kate Klise, we had it for the class read aloud and we all really liked it. It is about a 11 year old boy, Seymour Hope, a ghost, Olive C. Spence, and a grumpy writer, I. B. Grumply.

This book is about how I. B. Grumply rents a house in Ghastly, Illinois but discovers the house is already occupied by Seymour Hope, Olive C. Spence and Seymour’s cat Shadow. He didn’t read the rental contract which stated “The renter of this house will take care of Seymour Hope and his cat Shadow and return them in good condition upon his parent’s request.” The problem is I. B. Grumply HATES  children (which is ironic since he is a children’s book writer) and is allergic to cats. So if you want to find out more go get the book already! The authors like to play around with names in this book do you?
