Grounded takes place in a fictional town, named Digginsville, in Missouri. Dolly's Dad, Sister, and Brother have died in a plane crash, leaving Dolly, Her grieving mother, and her Grandmother, who is treating dolls like actual people. Not to mention the fact that her Aunt is driving her mother crazy!! Watch as Dolly solves a scammers evil plot, and as she learns that sometimes, sadness can be a present in it's own way.
My favorite part in this book is when she trys to hide her dolls ( That she never plays with anyway, she HATES dolls) from her Grandmother, and always fails in doing so. This is a book for people who can stand some creepiness, but also for those people out there that LOVE a mystery.
