    You all know the Oscars, right? Well, I’m here to talk about something that is really popular. The second most successful acting award show given. It’s called the Golden Globe Awards. Cool name, don’t you think so? I really like watching those kind of awards. They were hosted by Tina Fey and some other chick. They’re both comedians, so they crossed the line of language a little bit. But anyways, it was a fun night. Let me tell you why.

    First, the red carpet is awesome! You get to see all these amazing stars from movies you may have watched. Or you may see a few singers, because they would be nominated for a song they made that was in a movie. The red carpet has different interviewers from all around the red carpet interviewing people.It’s so cool. Secondly, the awards! You may have seen a few people win awards that were in a movie you’ve seen. I was waiting for it because Let it Go from Frozen was nominated for Best Original Song. Sadly, it didn’t win. But it’s nominated for the same thing in the Oscars, which is even better. Lastly, you get to relax. Relaxing while you kick back watching an award show is so fun. Seeing all the stars win awards and be nominated for some is great. By the way, for some of my Frozen fans, Frozen is nominated for two Oscars and won one Golden Globe!! Yes! It was a fun night. I hope you understand that now.

    Watching award shows can give you thought about what you want to do for your career. You should watch it if you want to be an actor or actress. Hope you enjoyed my talk about the Golden Globe Awards.
