    The Grammy Awards are the biggest night in music. The Grammys are an award show that give out awards for music. It’s the biggest award you can get in the music industry. Recently, the 2014 Grammy Awards took place. It was on the 26th of January. If you have never watched the Grammys before, then you should watch it. They give the awards early because you can’t wait till the end of 2014 to announce music awards and achievements for 2013. Anyways, I’ll the funnies, the frownies, and everything about the Grammys.

    First, beyonce opened up the night with her new song. She performed a little with her husband, rapper Jay-Z. It was a very not for kids performance. But she was good. The next performer was Lorde, the Queen of Creep, as I like to call her. Many people know that when she performs live, she’s kind of twitching. But I think it’s cool. Lorde performed “Royals”. She ended up with two Grammys at the end of the night. Both were for “Royals”. Funny fact: When Taylor Swift heard the R for an award she was nominated for, she thought she won because her album is called Red. The people who came with her looked happy, but when they said the name of another album that started with an R, they just went like “Ohhhh”. Then they started to clap for the artist. There were many old school singers there like Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. Those were the last two Beatles.
