 A Typical Fantasy:Part 1 by Manny 

    This was a strange day today. I’ll tell you it bit by bit. So first, I was walking home from school. I was all like, “Man this is a LONG walk to my house.” I was tired from a long day at school. Math was boring, literacy was boring, even play rehearsals were boring! I just kept walking, and walking, until I saw a 5$ bill on the ground. I bent to pick it up, but I fell into a well right in front of me. I was falling for about 10 seconds until I hit an ice cold snow covered ground. With a groan, I stood up all weirdly.

    “What’s ya name?” a voice said. I looked around, and all I saw was mountains and mountains of snow.

    “My...name...is...Brad”, I told the voice.

    “You sound stupid. Hey!! I’m down here.!” I soon looked down and saw a squirrel. I was so startled, I couldn’t breathe. This was a squirrel talking to me. A 5’2 baseball star on my middle school team. Was I crazy?

    “I need your help, Brad. Come lean down so I don’t have to stare up at you all the time. Anyways,” I did what he said and listened closely, “I was wondering if you can take me to the forest. I got lost. And now I’m here. In the middle of all these mountains. All of my friends are in the forest. Rapunzel, Ariel who’s now married, I’m even friends with Goldilox. But I need your help to get there.” I wanted to help this squirrel. I was lost too. And I needed to get back somewhere. So I decided yes.

    “Yes, I’ll help you.”
