Poetry: My Dog

My Dog
      By Diniti

My dog is just so super,
I can’t imagine what the world would be,
Without my little pooper,
Oh goodness what’s wrong with me,
Without my dog the world would be gone!
my dog is never a brat
Though maybe she isn’t a graceful swan,
she never chases pussy cats.
I don’t like it when she brings back my slipper all soggy
But I just can’t  live without my little doggy.
Once she did chase a squirrel,
Just only that once,
maybe there was a little quarrel,
but she never really did pounce
We always get tons of hugs,
from a ball of fur,
our playful pug,
My dog knows that I love her.

P.S.
I don’t have a dog.
