Book Review: Magyk

Magyk

The book magyk has several different things that make it cool. The characters have strong emotions making the book a good read. It is fun and a book you can’t put down. Although it might seem like a long heavy read it is not. (although it is about 900 pages) the book is jam packed with pictures and the pages are small.
In this book the main character Jenna is actually a princess. Or is she? The queen died a mysterious death the day the princess was born. Then, nobody finds the new princess in the castle. But a villager finds a baby girl in dead winter wrapped up in a bundle with violet eyes. His wife had a son that day too and that son goes missing. Is it a coincidence? The villagers keep the girl and tell everyone that she is her child. Until one day Jenna’s mom’s friend the plump lady who runs the cafe comes back with interesting news. Want to find out? Try reading the book!
