Social Studies: Bluffs

Bluffs
By: Ariana
This week and last we have been working on Bluffs for social studies. Bluff is another word for lie. I our Social Studies lesson we are practicing public speaking. In this lesson a group of students (mine is called the Oceaniers of Awesomeness.) will go up into the front of the class while the teacher puts up a complicated/long word that nobody knows on the board.
Each person is going to be giving a description of the word to the class. Only one of the people in the group will be telling the truth. The objective of this is for the other groups to guess out of the group which person is telling the truth. It is fun trying to guess who is not lying. Do you like guessing who is telling the truth??

  1. Yes, I love trying to guess how is telling the truth. I love this blog post because it's short and sweet and it goes into informational detail at the same time.

  2. Yes, guessing the truth is fun but can be boring if you keep guessing wrong. I wish we kept doing bluffs.
