Writing: A Typical Mystery, Part 3

A Typical Mystery:Part 3 by Manny

We luckily recruited more members. Also, we agreed to test the people. We asked them if they were comfortable with it, and other stuff like that. Some of them were fine with going on a quest. These are the members we recruited: Cinderella and Goldilocks. I said that some of them were fine with it, but most had work to do back here in the forest.
“Jeez, this’ll be a tough journey,” Cinderella said. We were rolled eyes. We didn’t want to be rude, but it was fascinating how much we knew that she didn’t about quests.
“We all know it’s going to be a tough journey. Luckily for us, we actually know how to fight and go on adventures. I’d hate to be you,” Elsa remarked coldly. Cinderella walked up and shoved Elsa, and watched with anger in her eyes as Elsa fell on the ground. Elsa got up and shot a flash of hard, cold ice, and aimed it right at Cinderella. Surprisingly, she ducked just in time.
“Girls, cut it out! We aren’t ever going to accomplish this task if we won’t work together!” Rapunzel screamed. She obviously didn’t like the fighting. Rapunzel was a sweet person, and she would never do anything on Elsa’s level. After Rapunzel finished, Elsa looked angry. It was going to be hard if we didn’t work together.
Me and Happy shot glances at each other. With his tiny little shoulders, he shrugged, as if he didn’t know what had happened. I looked back at him with the same expression.
Hours passed as we walked through the woods. Elsa had that same look on her face, and didn’t say a word. Rapunzel had a smile on her face, she seemed ready, happy, and prepared. Cinderella wasn’t being a brat about all the branches and stuff. She was just pushing through them, with determination on her face. Happy was tired. He had that look, and it was very clear to understand. Goldilocks seemed too shy. She didn’t say a word. Not even to Happy.
Soon, it got very dark, and it was time to rest. We all huddled against these five logs that were fairly close to each other.
“Don’t you guys think we’re traveling with no purpose or direction whatsoever?” Happy asked. He was right, and thankfully, all of us agreed.
“We need to think of some kind of plan. Who do you think could have stole it? Who do you think would’ve been that evil?” Rapunzel informed us.
“Elsa! She’s evil!” Cinderella blurted out. Elsa had no emotion on her face. And luckily for us, she didn’t use any violence to get back at Cinderella.
“I did not. Normally, I would blast you from here to the village that we all live in. But since I’m in a nonviolent mindset right now, I will not react.” We all smiled. We were learning to put ourselves into positive and nonviolent moods now.
“I think we should get some sleep,” piped up Goldilocks. “I would rather sleep here then get into trouble with those three bears again!” she joked. We all laughed and got comfy. Some of us were laying on the ground, or we used our bags and satchels as pillows. And just like that, we were all asleep in the darkness of the woods.
