Cloud 9 was a Disney Channel Original Movie that I saw on Friday. It was about snowboarding and risk taking. Have you seen the movie? Well if you have not, then watch it! It was a great movie mixed with a little drama and action with the sport of snowboarding. I loved watching it. It was WAY better than Teen Beach Movie, a movie about surfing and trying to find a way to get out of a 60s beach film. Now you must want to know about the movie. So now, I’ll tell you. There’s this girl named Kayla and she’s on the Swift Team. A popular and successful team for snowboarding. Kayla is a champion snowboarder. Her boyfriend, Nick, encourages Kayla to ride Will Cloud’s dog sled. Will Cloud used to be a huge snowboarder. But he was hurt and almost died the last time he rode the board. It was known around America. So when Kayla rode the sled with Nick, Nick soon falls off and Kayla is screaming because she is so scared. Kayla hits a hill and it goes straight through the Summit Valley sign. Security finds Kayla and as punishment, she has to work at a dog kinnell with Will. She soon is kicked off the Swift Team. Kayla struggles with the job. But soon Kayla makes Will give snowboarding another shot. They create a team of their own called Cloud 9. It’s a really good movie with a clear message that was mentioned a little in the movie. Nothing is impossible. I’m happy I was able to finally see the film.

ReplyDeleteI'm actually really afraid to snowboard. This is Manny. Skiing seemed much easier because it seems like you can stop without having a harder time like you might on a snowboard.
